Weekly Goals and Personal Pathways

Every Monday students in advisory will be asked to set a goal for them self. The goal can be related to self-efficacy or academics. At the end of the week on Friday students will then reflect and discuss their progress towards achieving their goal.

Also, this week students will be exploring the idea of a personal pathway. We will be discussing the following questions and ideas, then creating a large pathway representing the students in advisory.

• Where have I come from?
• Who or what has influenced me along the way?
• What has been a turning point for me, "I used to .... Now I ...."
• What are my goals for this year, in and out of school?
• I sometimes get off-track when ....
• Where I might be headed.

Students should still be working on their Sense of Self websites. They should have two poems completed --- "I Am" and "Where I Am From"

Sense of Self - "Where I Am From"

Here is the template for the next addition to your "Sense of Self" website.  In your site page 

• click on "Create New Page"
  
• Page title should be "Where I am from"
• Click on "list page under Home"

Sense of Self

Your first Advisory project will be building a website around the idea of "Sense of Self". You first posting onto the website will be an "I Am" poem. You can use the following template to create your poem in your journal and then enter it into your website. You can also choose an image that reflects who you are to go along with your poem.
